Composer and multi-instrumentalist Adam Maness and renowned jazz bassist Bob DeBoo, along with three members of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra – violinist Shawn Weil, violist Michael Casmir and cellist Bjorn Ranheim – perform material from their newest recording projects, as well as commissioned works by Paul Reuter and a composer from the Mizzou New Music Initiative.
“Music that Matters”
Top St. Louis musicians play music that matters—sharing with you the composers and works that mean the most to them personally. A reception follows each of the three concerts, giving you an opportunity to meet the artists. This series occurs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m.
