Celebrate the opening of Assembly Required, an exhibition that features nine artists and collectives whose work invites your active participation. Created between the 1950s and the present, the artworks respond to distinct social and political moments, from unrest in the United States during the Vietnam War to Peru’s military dictatorship. Featured artists include Francis Alÿs, Rasheed Araeen, Siah Armajani, Tania Bruguera and INSTAR, Lygia Clark, Hélio Oiticica, Yoko Ono, Lygia Pape, and Franz Erhard Walther.
Join us for an evening reception from 5–9pm, plus a public activation of Franz Erhard Walther’s work.
