Visionary Awards

Founded by Grand Center, Inc. in 2003, the Visionary Awards is an annual recognition event celebrating the numerous contributions and achievements of women who work in or support the arts in St. Louis. From established working professionals and educators to emerging artists and others, each year’s honorees are always truly “visionary”. To date, 62 such extraordinary women have been honored as Visionaries.  The selection process begins with an open call for nominations each December.

Every year, our honorees call and write to share their appreciation for the outpouring of attention and support which the event brings them, affirming their contributions to the arts and their positive impact on the St. Louis Region. Without the support of the community, we would not be able to continue this special recognition event.
